A) Literacy - Actively Learn:

Actively Learn is great tool for teachers looking to guide their students through any text (pdfs, html, google doc). Teachers control the pace of reading and responding to the reading process. Responses can be shared with other students or the teacher only. Quiz functions and open questions are available. It is IOS and web friendly with Edmodo compatibility.

 

B) Numeracy - Cue Think & Explain Everything Discovery:

CueThink allows students to record videos of their solutions, which they will enjoy. Students share and collaborate with their classmates through a four-step problem-solving strategy, allowing them to think through their solutions and share their strategies with teachers and classmates. It is IOS and web friendly. 

Explain Everything Interactive Whiteboard has all you loved in the original Explain Everything app and more.  Teachers and students can share and collaborate their ideas and thoughts by adding and moving text, drawings, video in real time.  It is available on the App Store, Google Play, Windows Store, and Chrome Web Store.

Kaizena enables students to get detailed feedback from peers or teachers. The easy-to-use interface and dashboard help kids stay engaged. The app empowers students to take charge of their writing, seeking out feedback from teachers or students, actively working for improvement. Teachers can be responsive, adding feedback and external links for practice.  It is IOS and web friendly with Office 365 compatibility.

 

B) Numeracy - Desmos:

Desmos allows students to make beautiful math. Students can graph functions, plot tables of data, evaluate equations, explore transformations, and much more. It is IOS and web friendly with Office 365 compatibility.
